You can use any border dies you want on the outer 2 flaps.
I used Spellbinders Scalloped Borders 1.
The gal on Pinterest just used a circle cut in half so they were round.
I used Spellbinders Decorative ovals for the front and side flaps.
A Dazzles oval medallion cut in half, and the senti is Anna Griffin.

Front of card all folded up.

                        And unfolded.

So Much Fun!

Mornin' crafty friends!

I love making cards! To me, it's so much fun, especially when they turn out well.

And I have a 3-D card to share this morning that I'm pretty happy with.
I've seen a few of these around the internet and here's my version.

Entering in these challenges:

613 Ave, Create - #199 AG/Monochrome
CraftingWith Friends - #48 AAG
Crafty Catz - #380 AAG/Party Time
Crafty Creations - #346 AAG
Crafty Sentiments -  AG
Creative Craft Cottage- #92 AG
Dies R Us - #77 Use Senti as Focus

Jo's Scrap Shack - #198 AAG
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1730 AAG
Penny's - #338 AAG
QKR Stampede - #253 AG/ Up,Up and Away*

* I made my own patterned paper by using the tarnished foil technique;
By using a brick embossing folder on silver mirror paper, gold and copper embossing powders and black stays on ink.
* Kinda reminds me of the Nutty Professor and his flying car.

That's it for now.
Many thanks to the challengers above for lettin' me play along, you're awesome.

A Peek a Boo Card!

Evening crafty friends!

I've got a peek a boo card to share tonight that I got from Paper Wishes.
Or should I say I got the template and paper from Paper Wishes.
Warning! It's rather a difficult one.
I'm the copy cat queen and can usually look at something and figure it out.
This one, not so much.
It's taken me 2 days to figure it out and put it together.
But overall, it came out pretty nice. (Thank you Lord!)

Entering in these challenges:

Allsorts - #242 Lavender n Lace
Art Impressions - #212 Bling, Glitter or Glossy
Brown Sugar - #259 Color Combo/Plums n Yellows
CraftyCats - #379 AG
Glitter n Sparkle - #248 AG
Inky Chicks - #86 Use a Senti Instead of an Image
Jo's Scrap Shack - #197 AAG
My Time to Craft - #350 In The Garden
Pammie's InkyPinkies - #1929 AAG
Tuesday Throwdown - #352 Tic Tac Toe

Inky Chicks: Senti is in the inside of the card (scroll down)
Tuesday Throwdown: Flower, Sparkle, Embossing

The glitter paper in the middle (by Dazzles) is actually holographic purple which changes color as you move it. The black flowers are also Dazzles which gives it a raised, embossed feel and look.
Flowers are by K n Company.

Don't know why pictures make purple look blue, it's not. I've noticed it does that on TV too.

I've seen a few different peek a boo cards, but I like this one the best because of the opening aperture, which is also what made it a royal pain to put together!

I had to make the opening flaps a little wider than what it called for because the points kept getting caught in the center window. Worked like a charm!

I had to reinforce the opening aperture flaps with thicker paper so they wouldn't tear from opening them..

                                ...and the sentiment reveal.

Hope you enjoyed takin' a peek.
Thanks for stoppin' by and to all the challengers above for lettin' me play along.
You're awesome!
Blessings!
